The President of the Japan Society of Health Evaluation and Promotion.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen
I would like to congratulate you on your continued good health at this time. My name is Yasuhiro NISHIZAKI and I am affiliated with the Tokai University School of Medicine, and I have been asked to preside over the 29th Biennial meeting of the International Health Evaluation and Promotion Association (IHEPA2025).
My conference will be held at the Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama in Tokyo Disney Resort Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, on January 31 to February 1, 2025, in conjunction with the 53rd Annual Meeting of Japan Society of Health Evaluation and Promotion, both on-site and remotely, as well as on-demand. The theme of the 29th IHEPA is "The Importance of Gender Difference and Aging Process in General Health Check-ups: for the comprehensive health evaluation and promotion to all people in the world wide”.

Japan is the country that conducts the most health checkups in the world, and this is the fundamental factor behind the world's healthiest life expectancy. From now on, however, I believe that health checkups should be conducted with an awareness of gender differences and aging related disorders. In June 2006, We established the "Anti-Aging Health Checkup System" at Tokai University Tokyo Hospital, as the first university hospital in Japan to make it. Cancer is, in a sense, an age-related disease, and the difference between men and women is obvious. In the future, sarcopenia, locomotive syndrome, frailty, and dementia should also be more investigated, and it is well known that aging and gender differences are strongly related to these diseases as well.

The 29th IHEPA intends to contribute to the discussion of current and emerging issues related to the health and well-being of the world wide population and to count on the participation of researchers and professionals from different fields of medicine, health care and health management.
Finally, we wish your safety and continued growth.
